Speaker

Black has spoken at the Cheltenham Literature Festival, the Gloucester History Festival, London’s Brydges Place Club, the West London Aero Club, RAeS branches and various Museums: the award-winning Army Flying Museum Middle Wallop, Bentley Priory, Biggin Hill, Brooklands, the Spitfire & Hurricane Memorial Museum, and at the RAF Museums at both Cosford and Hendon. After-dinner talks figure too: at RAF stations, the RAF Club and for charity.

The 2025 talks begin at the National Memorial to the Few, Capel-le-Ferne, followed by an appearance ‘in conversation’ with Dr Victoria Taylor at the Aces High Aviation Gallery, Steventon. It marked the publication of her book, Eagle Days. Several more museum talks followed and the year ended with three lecture cruise commitments.
