Writing his first book led Black Robertson to add a second string to his bow, as a speaker. Despite Covid restrictions he fulfilled a number of commitments during 2021. Private events included an online presentation for the RAF Club and a talk at London’s Brydges Place Club. Public appearances followed at the Cheltenham Literature Festival, Brooklands Museum and Bentley Priory Battle of Britain Museum.
Events in 2022 have included illustrated talks at both RAF Museums, Cosford and Hendon, returns to Brydges Place and Bentley Priory, and a first visit to Biggin Hill Memorial Museum. Topics range from his own and his father’s career to the Battle of Britain.
